Lustrous 1827 Square Base 2 Half Dollar
MS64, O-125
1827 50C Square Base 2 MS64 PCGS. O-125, R.3. The diagnostic
die crack is evident from the lower left base of the T in LIBERTY
through the upper right serif, and the center line of stripe 4
extends below the shield. This lustrous piece displays pastel
violet, gray, and golden-green patination, and is nicely struck. A
few minor marks preclude Gem status. Population: 67 in 64, 18 finer
