Description

1827 Square Base 2 O-120 Half Dollar, MS64

1827 50C Square Base 2 MS64 PCGS. O-120, R.5. Unlike most survivors from this die pairing, there is no die crack atop UNITED STATES. The prominent die lines beneath the bust tip often cause early die examples of O-120 to be confused with the extremely rare O-149. Well struck and unmarked with deep blended golden-brown and olive-green toning. The borders are lustrous.(Registry values: N2998)
