Desirable 1828 O-128 Half, MS64
1827 50C Square Base 2 MS64 PCGS. O-128, R.3. A slightly scarce variety. The reverse has a distinct horizontal line through the center of the I in PLURIBUS, and it is called the Joined I reverse. That die is known with two different obverse dies, for O-128 and O-139. Lustrous surfaces exhibit silver-gray, lilac, gold, and iridescent toning on both sides, creating excellent aesthetic appeal.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24FN, PCGS# 6144, GSID# 6184)
