Description
1827 50C Square Base 2, O-134, R.4, MS62 PCGS. Star 13 nearly touches the curl, and the left side of the I is centered under the T on this scarce variety. The centers are bright and lustrous, framed by rings of blue, orange, and gold patina around the borders. A late die state example with the stars drawn to the rims, and evidence of lapping to remove clash marks. From The Kadison Family Collection.
