Description
Lustrous MS63 1827/6 Half Dollar, O-101
1827/6 50C MS63 NGC. O-101, R.2. Noticeable portions of the 6 are seen on both sides of the 7. Heavily die cracked, as always, around the reverse periphery. The striking details are remarkably strong, especially considering the piece was produced with a screw press, with no localized areas of weakness. Much brilliance remains with a light accent of color around the devices. Only a couple of small marks can be seen, both located in the left obverse field. Several examples are known in mint condition of this variety.(Registry values: N1793)
