1829 50C Small Letters MS65 NGC. CAC. O-112a, R.2. Deep golden-brown surfaces reveal powder-blue and chestnut tints when the coin is rotated beneath a light. Field marks are minimal, and the original eye appeal is imposing. Well struck except for the C in the denomination. Tied for first place with one other NGC MS65 (the Reiver specimen we auctioned in January 2006) in the Stephen J. Herrman variety condition census.(Registry values: N4719)
