Delightful Near-Gem 1830 Large 0 Half, O-123
1830 50C Large 0 MS64 PCGS. O-123, R.1. The distinctive Large 0 distinguishes the obverse, while the reverse has overly long pales protruding from the bottom of the shield. This strongly lustrous example shows pleasing detail overall, with just a touch of softness at Liberty's clasp and the stars. The surfaces are minimally toned with only faint marks. For all Large 0 varieties, Population: 22 in 64, 6 finer (8/07).From The Mario Eller Collection, Part One.
