Impressive 1832 Small Letters Half Dollar, O-103, MS64
1832 50C Small Letters MS64 NGC. O-103, R.1. Star 8 is closely spaced to the cap, which is a helpful diagnostic for the obverse. The 5 in the denomination is recut and the AM in AMERICA are nearly touching, which identifies the reverse. Faint clash marks are visible in the reverse field. Lavender and rose-gold toning in the periphery accents the silver-gray that drapes the centers. Impressive satiny luster shimmers throughout and highlights the exquisitely detailed design elements.
