Description
Lustrous 1832 Small Letters Half Dollar, O-110, MS64
1832 50C Small Letters MS64 PCGS. O-110, R.1. A "spike" at the top of the cap typically identifies the obverse, but one must exercise caution because this same defect is sometimes seen on O-109, which shares the same obverse. The 5 in the denomination is slightly recut on the outer curve and URI in PLURIBUS is weak, both of which are diagnostic for the reverse. Lustrous surfaces display light toning and sharply struck devices. Population for the issue: 88 in 64, 14 finer (3/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24FW, PCGS# 6160, GSID# 6200)
