1834 Bust Half Dollar, O-111, MS66
Small Date, Small Letters
Attractive Premium Gem

1834 50C Small Date, Small Letters, O-111, R.1, MS66 NGC. Champagne and toffee toning is highlighted with regions of steel-gray and sage. Frosty luster radiates throughout the pristine surfaces of this exceptional coin, and the strike is solid. The 1834 O-111 has been called the Child's Head variety for rounded cheeks and wide-eyed appearance, and stems from Kneass' experimentations master die and hub modification. This is among the finest known examples of the variety, and the coin would also make a superb Capped Bust half dollar type coin.
