1834 50C Small Date, Small Letters MS 61. O-115, R.2. Nicely (although not fully) struck and well centered, this piece displays pleasing champagne-gold iridescence throughout. While there are a few scattered abrasions on the frosty surfaces, we note that none of these seem to preclude a higher Mint State grade. A pleasing piece, this coin should attract significant attention from advanced type collectors as well as numerous Bust half dollar enthusiasts.
