Description
1835 50C MS63 PCGS. O-106, R.1. The 1 in the date tilts to the right, and minor recutting shows on the stand of the 5. On the reverse each of four stripes have one line extending to the second crossbar. Rich powder-blue and sea-green peripheral patina frames golden-brown and lilac-gray centers. Luster sweeps the lightly abraded fields and devices. The 1835 is a "sleeper" date, a bit scarcer than other Lettered Edge dates from the final decade of the series.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24FZ, PCGS# 6168, GSID# 6210)
