Description

1835 50C O-106, R.1, MS62 PCGS. Gold CAC. The 1 in the date leans sharply to the right and the 5 is noticeably recut outside of the upright to identify the O-106 obverse, and the reverse confirms with a short tine off the left side of the eagle's neck. A sharp Mint State example of obvious originality and above-average surface quality, silver luster prevails at the centers with intermittent peach-gold and blue toning in the fields and along the margins. This coin received the CAC gold seal signifying a finer grade is warranted, currently housed in an old green label holder.
