1836 50C Beaded Border, Lettered Edge AU55 PCGS. O-106, R.1. An early die state with no die cracks on the reverse. A gorgeous piece with nearly full luster beneath light gray-gold and iridescent toning. This reverse die was also used to produce the Crushed Lettered Edge proofs from 1833 to 1835.From The Donald R.
