Description
1836 50C Lettered Edge XF 45 PCGS. O-101, R.1. An attractive piece despite light wear across the highpoints, this specimen carries an even blanket of olive-gray toning across both sides. Sharply struck at the peripheries, the definition wanes slightly over the central details. There are no unduly distracting bagmarks or circulation impairments on either the obverse or the reverse and faint traces of mint luster are still evident around the stars and legends.
