1815 25C B-1, R.1, AU50 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 4/2 with a double clash of the scroll above the date. Deeply variegated forest-green and golden-brown toning blankets this minimally marked early quarter. Liberty's forehead displays moderate wear, but most design elements are bold.Ex: Pre-Long Beach Auction (Ira & Larry Goldberg, 9/2005), lot 1656; Purchased for $1,950 from eBay, 11/2006; Denis W. Loring Capped Bust Quarter Collection; to the present consignor.
