Original Toning, CAC Endorsed
1818 25C B-8, R.3, MS62 PCGS. CAC. Tompkins Die State 3/5,
terminal, with a heavy reverse die break at the olive leaves just
left of the denomination. Satiny luster is revealed when rotated
beneath a light, illuminating original blue-gray, gold, and
lavender toning on each side. Abrasions are minimal, although
slight softness is noted on the high points of the devices. A
pleasing CAC-endorsed example of this Capped Bust issue.Selections From The Charles Link Collection.
