Description

1818 B-8 Quarter, MS63
Lushly Toned, Well Preserved

1818 25C B-8, R.3, MS63 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 2/3. "Bars" below Liberty's ear and a radial crack west of the denomination serve to attribute the Capped Bust quarter marriage. B-8 also has an "extra claw" near the lower olive on the eagle's branch. Lavender centers and navy-blue borders endow this satiny and unmarked representative. The strike is bold save for blending on the feathers west of the shield.
