1818 B-2 Quarter, MS62
Tied for 14th Finest
1818 25C MS62 NGC. B-2, R.1. Die State c, and typically
attributed by the die crack in the obverse field over the cap. This
example also has heavy clash marks and a reverse die crack from the
right wing to the lower arrow head. This lovely Mint State specimen
is tied for 14th in the Rea-Koenings-Haroutunian Census, although
those census-takers were unaware of this example. Satin luster
shines through the deep iridescent toning on both sides, with
trivial and scattered surface marks that fail to limit the
