Not Sold Description
1818 MS 64 NGC. B-2d, R.1. Sharply struck throughout with multiple layerings of deep color spread across both sides. The luster seems a bit subdued because of the heavy patina, but is actually fully present as one can tell when the coin is examined beneath a light. Struck from the latest state of the dies and showing clash marks as well on each side. Very scarce in such lofty condition, only two other coins have been so graded by NGC with another two in even higher condition.
