Description
Outstanding 1818 Quarter, MS 64
1818 MS 64 NGC. B-4b, R.1. An absolutely splendid coin that rates as second finest on the latest Condition Census in the Browning update from 1992. The fields are slightly reflective and shimmer brightly through the toning, that is distributed in deep shades of blue and sea-green in the centers and light golden-rose around the margins. Well struck around the peripheries with slight softness in the centers, the diagnostic die crack between star 13 and the final 8 in the date is quite heavy.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RH, PCGS# 5322, GSID# 5062)
