Description
Select 1818 Capped Bust Quarter With Originally Preserved Features
1818 25C MS 63 PCGS. B-2, R.1. A later die state, both sides show numerous clashmarks in addition to the cracks in the upper obverse field. The surfaces are, however, remarkably free of post-production distractions for the Select grade. There is considerable original luster beneath the moderate endowment of olive-gray patina. This is an attractive representative of this conditionally elusive quarter series.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RH, PCGS# 5322, GSID# 5062)
