1818/5 25C B-3, R.3, MS63 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 3/2. Forest-green borders surround stone-gray interiors. This well struck representative displays coruscating luster and minimally abraded fields. Liberty's cheekbone has a few minuscule ticks. The late die state with a light crack from the upper leaf tip to the U in UNITED. B-3 and B-1 share the same obverse die, but evidence of the underdigit 5 is more apparent on B-1.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RH, Variety PCGS# 411648, Base PCGS# 5323, GSID# 212697)
