Flashy MS62 1818/5 Quarter, B-1
1818/5 25C MS62 NGC. B-1, R.2. Autumn-gold and jade-green shades emerge when this patinated Bust quarter is rotated beneath a light. The fields are flashy beneath the rich patination. Boldly struck save for minor merging on the high points of the curls and claws. B-1 is the traditional 1818/5 variety, though early die states of B-3 (which shares the same obverse die) also have traces of the crossbar of the 5.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 5323, GSID# 5099)
