Description
Impressive Choice 1818/5 B-1 Quarter
1818/5 25C MS64 NGC. B-1, R.2. Breen Die State V, with die crack from rim through period to the center talon of the right (facing) claw. The overdate feature is undesignated on the NGC holder. Dusky apple-green and ivory-gray compete for territory across this satiny and refreshingly mark-free near-Gem. The strike is bold save for softness on the eagle's head and opposite on the drapery clasp.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 5323, GSID# 5099)
