Description

1818/5 25C MS 64 PCGS. B-1, R.3. The otherwise antique-copper toning yields to rich steel-golden coloration throughout the central obverse. A technically superior coin, the surfaces are free of mentionable abrasions and both sides are boldly struck for the issue. This is a scarcer die state of this popular overdate that is free of cracks on the reverse.
