1819 Small 9 Quarter MS63 NGC
1819 25C Small 9 MS63 NGC. B-3, R.1. Misattributed as the scarcer B-4 by NGC. Both varieties share the same reverse with a broadly recut 25, but the 9 in the date and star 8 are differently placed relative to the bust. This crisply struck example possesses bright honey-gold luster across the reverse and throughout the obverse border. Gunmetal-gray toning visits the obverse field and the cheek.
