1820 Large 0 Quarter, B-2, AU55
Semiprooflike Fields, Splendid Toning

1820 25C Large 0, B-2, R.2, AU55 PCGS. CAC. Tompkins Die State 1/1, struck from perfect dies. Peach-gold, violet, and cerulean blue shades cover semiprooflike surfaces of this Choice Large 0 quarter. Two varieties exist with the same obverse to account for all of the Large 0 production, with the Browning-1 variety slightly scarcer than this B-2 die pair. A sharp coin with only a few light abrasions and tiny marks, housed in a an old green label holder with CAC endorsement. The eye appeal is excellent. Population (large 0 varieties): 4 in 55, 16 finer (7/16). CAC: 2 in 55, 16 finer (7/16).
