1820 Large 0 Quarter, Unc Sharpness
B-2, Semireflective Appeal Remains
1820 25C Large 0, B-2, R.2 -- Obverse Improperly Cleaned -- NGC.
Unc Details. Tompkins Die State 1/1. Iridescent colors cover
both sides of this Unc Details coin, where the obverse shows a
slight sheen with irregular toning as the result of an early
cleaning. Even a strong light and a loupe do not reveal any
hairlines, although the unusual coloration is a tip-off to the
cleaning. Well-struck, the motifs retain Uncirculated sharpness.
Pale-green, blue, and peach colors remain across both sides of this
semireflective representative of the Browning 2 Large 0, Large
Stars obverse.From The Hamilton Collection, Part II.
