Description
1820 25C Small 0, B-4, R.2, AU53 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 2/2, lightly rusted dies. The 0 in the date is repunched. Vivid forest-green, plum-red, and chestnut-gold patina dominates the obverse along with the reverse border. The central reverse is lightly toned. Wear on the cheek and curls is minimal, and marks are virtually absent.Purchased from Jim McGuigan, 5/2006, for $3,250; Denis W. Loring Capped Bust Quarter Collection; to the present consignor.
