Attractive 1821 Quarter, AU58
1821 25C AU58 NGC. B-1, R.2. The B-1 variety is characterized by the seventh star pointing to the cap, combined with the large 5 in the denomination. The obverse devices are strongly impressed, with good detail on most star centers. The reverse is weak at LU of PLURIBUS and on the eagle's talons, a diagnostic of this issue.
