1821 25C B-3, R.2, AU53 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 5/1. A prooflike representative with surprisingly mark-free pearl-gray and wheat-gold surfaces. Sharp for the designated grade, without any obvious high-point wear. Browning-3 is the most available of the six 1821-dated varieties, but most survivors are in well-circulated grades.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RM, Variety PCGS# 38965, Base PCGS# 5331, GSID# 212709)
