Early Die State, Original Toning
1821 25C B-4, R.3, MS63 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 1/1 without
the cracks and clashes customary for the die variety. This
coruscating Select representative displays minimally marked
golden-brown, rose-red, and olive-green surfaces. Four narrow
vertical obverse laminations provide identifiers. The upper stars
lack a full impression, but the centers are well struck.From The Duffy Family Collection.
