Remarkable 1821 Quarter, B-1, MS62
1821 25C MS62 NGC. B-1, High R.2. Star 7 points to the cap and the date is unevenly spaced, which helps identify the obverse. The reverse was reused from 1820 B-4 and has numerous die chips in the field to the left of the 2 in the denomination. Also, the R in PLURIBUS is centered under the right side of the A in STATES. Deep gunmetal-gray patina envelops both sides of this remarkably clean representative. Crisply struck with pleasing eye appeal.From The Menlo Park Collection.(Registry values: P2)
