Description
1821 Capped Bust Quarter in MS 63
1821 MS 63 PCGS. B-5, R.5. It might be typical of our Signature sales to find that this lovely 1821 quarter is not the finest Capped Bust quarter to be offered, but it is hard to imagine that it is only the second finest 1821 B-5 in the sale. This piece is just as lustrous as the following gem and is toned in speckled coppery-gold and pale violet hues. Only a few discreet facial marks preclude a higher rating.
