Description
1821 25C AU50 ANACS. B-1, High R.2. This variety shares its reverse die with 1820 B-4 and 1821 B-3, and it is easily identifiable by the die rust (as struck) in the lower reverse field between the olive leaves and the 2 in the denomination. This is an attractive piece with soft, silver-gray toning that deepens to tan shades around the reverse border. A well produced example with bold definition and no mentionable distractions for the grade.
