Elusive AU 1822 Quarter, B-1
1822 25C AU50 NGC. CAC. B-1, R.2. Only two 1822 die marriages are known, and B-1 receives its own Guide Book listing since B-2 is the rare 25/50C reverse. This representative has medium golden-brown and dove-gray toning. The stars and right (facing) claw is softly impressed, but the remainder of the design is well detailed.
