1824/2 25C --Scratches--NGC. Fine Details. B-1, R.3. The only variety for 1824, struck from an overdated obverse die. While this example does have some light, old scratches on the obverse, they are entirely blended with the surrounding surface, and the natural gray and iridescent patina trumps those blemishes.
