Description
1825/2 25C XF 45. B-1, R.5. A colorful circulated representative of this scarce overdate variety, the obverse shows deep charcoal-blue peripheral toning about the rainbow colored center. The reverse shows similar colors, but the lighter shades are closer to the denticles. The wear is even across the highest features and the surfaces are quite smooth for the grade. A pair of abrasions near the eagle's beak are, however, noted for accuracy.
