1825/4/2 Quarter, B-2, MS63
Frosty and Brilliant
1825/4/2 25C B-2, R.2, MS63 NGC. This variety, in the past,
has been called everything from 1825/3 to 1825/2 to 1825/4, but
modern research by specialists in the series have suggested that
all 1825 quarters were struck from dies that exhibit an 1825/4/2
overdate. B-2 is the most plentiful of the three known varieties,
ideal for the casual date collector. This piece is nearly devoid of
color, with frosty luster that exhibits only minute disruptions.
