Description

1825/4/2 Quarter, B-2, MS63
Frosty and Brilliant

1825/4/2 25C B-2, R.2, MS63 NGC. This variety, in the past, has been called everything from 1825/3 to 1825/2 to 1825/4, but modern research by specialists in the series have suggested that all 1825 quarters were struck from dies that exhibit an 1825/4/2 overdate. B-2 is the most plentiful of the three known varieties, ideal for the casual date collector. This piece is nearly devoid of color, with frosty luster that exhibits only minute disruptions. The strike is sharp, but with a slight clockwise die rotation.
