Description
Originally Toned 1828 Capped Bust Quarter
1828 25C MS 63 PCGS. B-1, R.2. This is a simply lovely example of this difficult early quarter type. Crimson-peace iridescence envelops the obverse but is largely confined to the peripheral areas on the reverse. The few scattered, grade-limiting abrasions are concealed from view and not unduly detracting from this coin's overall eye appeal. From the Christopher Young Collection.
