    1831 Large Letters Quarter, MS64
    B-6, Small 1s, Short Crossbar on 3

1831 25C Large Letters, B-6, R.3, MS64 PCGS. Large Letters. The Browning-6 is the scarcest die pair for the year, with narrow arrowheads and a short central crossbar on the 3 of the date. Slightly reflective fields surround sharply struck central motifs and bold peripheral elements. All of the star centers are complete or nearly so. A light dispersal of golden-gray toning is slightly deeper at the margins, while a few light marks and lines determine the near-Gem grade.
