Description
NGC 1831 MS 64. Reduced Diameter quarters are undoubtedly one of the best buys in U.S. coins today. The 1831 is the most "common" date in the series and, yet, there have only been 30 pieces certified by NGC with 27 by PCGS (with an undetermined number of these being crossovers). This is a sharply struck coin with attractive, original surfaces that have a speckled patina over the obverse while the reverse is a mellowed gray-brown.
