Description
1831 MS 60 Slight Obverse Damage. Small Letters. First year of Kneass' Capped Bust series of quarter dollars, and always a popular type coin as such. Excellent luster beneath a thin veil of golden and gray toning. It appears an initial or other surface flaw has been smoothed out in the left obverse field.
