1832 B-2 Quarter, MS63
Original Toning
1832 25C B-2, R.2, MS63 NGC. Tompkins Die State 2/2. A
generous quantity of luster emanates from beneath deep but
delightful patina on this Bust quarter. The color scheme is a
familiar one to lovers of original coloration, consisting of
iridescent steel-blue near the rims ceding to copper-gold centers,
although the splash of mint-green on Liberty's cap is a bit
unusual. This is a well-struck example for the grade, with few
mentionable marks. Census (all varieties included): 7 in 63, 16
finer (12/17).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2011), lot 3388.
