Description
PCGS 1832 MS 63. Toned in concentric rings of intense color on the obverse, more subtly colored on the reverse with bright underlying luster. Showing just a touch of softness on the hair curls on the obverse, the reverse is very sharply defined as are the obverse stars. Scarce in mint state, much more so than one would think from the date, many of which were actually dated 1831. Only 2 other pieces have been so graded by PCGS (11/92) with 9 in better condition (all MS 64).
