Description
Choice Mint State 1833 B-1 Quarter
1833 25C MS64 PCGS. B-1, R.2. Only two die varieties are known for the 1833 quarters, and they are easily distinguished by a quick glance at the lower reverse. Browning-1 has a period following 25 C and B-2 doesn't. Both sides of this piece are characterized by considerable die rust. This Choice Mint State piece has satiny luster beneath heather and iridescent toning. The surfaces are smooth and essentially mark-free, while the devices are boldly detailed.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RY, PCGS# 5352, GSID# 5086)
