1834 B-4 Quarter, Toned MS64
Appealing Type Coin
1834 25C B-4, R.1, MS64 PCGS. Tompkins Die State II. Star 1
is relatively close to the bust while OF is distant from AMERICA on
the reverse of this available variety -- making this near-Gem a
perfect type coin to represent the series-ending years. Star 10 is
repunched, and some die cracks show at STATES OF and on many of the
lower reverse elements. Appealing silver, gray, and green patina
alternates to good effect on surfaces free of all but scattered
