1834 25C MS64 PCGS. B-4, R.1. The most commonly seen variety of the year. Liberty's lowest curl is over the left side of the 4, and on the reverse the eagle has no tongue, the last T in STATES is low, OF is closer to STATES than AMERICA, and the stem is centered over the C in the denomination. This near-Gem boasts impeccable surface quality, well-struck golden centers with pale blue accents near the rims. The numerous small die cracks on the reverse, near the rim, are typical. This piece is sharply struck with only minimal contact. For all varieties, Population: 42 in 64, 11 finer (10/12).(Registry values: P1)
