Beautiful Toning

1835 25C B-1, R.1, MS63 PCGS. CAC. Tompkins Die State 1/2, with a downward-sloping die crack from the A in STATES to RIC in AMERICA. This is the most plentiful die variety for the highly collectible 1835 quarter. Each side is sharply struck and attractively toned in gunmetal-blue and lavender-gray patina with golden-orange accents. Radiant underlying mint luster. Population (all varieties): 22 in 63, 22 finer. CAC: 3 in 63, 9 finer (3/19).
